I Realised That Stem Had An Interesting Pattern,

As I Kept Slicing, I Found That The Segments Varied Their

Shape.

I Started A Series Of Masks For A 'Mongrel Country' Filmclip. They Started Small And Then Progressed To Become Large Scale Pieces. The Horse Head Is The First Of The Large Scale Masks That I Have Completed!! I Then Needed To Make A Stand To Display It.Mask Materials- Found Glass, Palm Leaf, Palm Frond, Found Broom Straw. I Created This Piece In Response To Being Given The Urinal Cake Displayed In the Centre Of The Frame By A Friend. He Wanted To Remind Me That There Is More To Life Than Being A Corporate Shell. Without This Timely Reminder I May Have Ended Up Staying In My Dead-End Job and Never Starting RE-CYKL-ART.
